My wife Robin and I moved from Brookfield to Elm Grove about 15 years ago. We have two dogs, Maddie and Beau, both adopted from canine rescue groups, and I can be seen almost daily walking them in our Village Park. Our daughter Sara, her husband Ryan along with our two grandchildren Noah and Lily also live in Elm Grove on Highland Drive.

Even though the move to our current home on Hollyhock Lane was only a few miles in distance from our previous home, I clearly remember being pleasantly surprised by how nicer living in the Elm Grove community was compared to where we lived in Brookfield. Elm Grove has a nice small town feel with quiet, safe streets, plenty of open green space with families walking to and from the park.

Much of my personal time during the summer is spent on my lifelong hobby of Beekeeping as well as gardening. My love for the outdoors is why it’s important to me that we protect and enhance our Village Park and the surrounding open green spaces and waterways within our community.
